Mafia Island
With idyllic setting and tranquil milieu, the island of Mafia, once an important trading center between the 11th and 13th centuries, now draws tourists to it’s extrodinary coral formations and marine park. The waters of the island are splendid for swimming, snorkling, scuba diving,sailing and sport fishing.
Pangani
About 50km south of Tanga in the north-eastern part of Tanzania. This quiet town is idyllically located on an estuary where the river and sea meet. Enjoy a sunset cruise along coconut plantations, relax on the beautiful ushongo beach, and see Maziwe Island Marine Reserve.
Bagamoyo
A small town 75km north of Dar es Salaam, in the 18th and 19th centuries it was the last stop before slaves were transported to Zanzibar. It Maintains beautiful beaches, a wonderful museum and the amazing kaole ruins. The waters of the island are splendid for swimming, snorkling, scuba diving,sailing and sport fishing.
